According to the lovely little book,
Language of Flowers
by Kate Greenaway,
the meaning for daffodil is "Regard." So I am sending out my regards, to all of my friends, on this wonderful spring day.
These beautiful daffodils are in my front yard, for everyone to enjoy :)
My Italy countdown is on! In 38 days I will be heading off on my big adventure. I am so excited to be joining my daughter, and good friends, on this once-in-a-lifetime trip to the beautiful country of Italy. I'm not sure what I am looking forward to more: the thrill of traveling, the anticipation of delicious food, or the promise of magnificent views!

Our itinerary includes visits to Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, The Vatican, Lake Garda, and Verona.I plan to play amateur photographer, and will be capturing many of the sights that we see with my camera; I know that I will want to relive the vacation again after we come home. I'll post some pictures on my site so everyone can see them. If I'm lucky I'll find a great bakery for some pignoli cookies and cannoli!

I hope everyone is able to plan a wonderful vacation for 2012. It's going to be a very good year!
Welcome to my blog. Thank you for joining me on my journey from writer to author. It's going to be an exciting journey full of new experiences and challenges. I look forward to sharing my thoughts with you.
